Additionally, you consent to the usage of your battery in Beta Testing as outlined in Section 5A Battery Operations.
4. Unenrollment

5. Battery Operations
A. Beta Testing
Your device may be selected to participate in beta testing of battery dispatch commands between April 7, 2025 to May 15, 2025. During this period, you may experience battery discharge between the event window of 3-10 PM on any weekday, though almost all events will be shorter and within the TOU peak period of 4-9 PM. Your battery will retain its backup reserve in the case of power outages and will adhere to Storm Watch (if enabled in the Tesla app for Powerwall) or Storm Mode (an automatic Sunrun setting for LG and SolarEdge batteries) functionality, per the terms of your customer agreement.
B. Live Program Operations
Sunrun will control and monitor your battery system, providing a hassle free experience. The program season is May 15, 2025 through October 31, 2025. Possible event days are Monday-Saturday. During this season, there is a maximum of one event called per day and events may last between 1 and 6 hours between 3-10 PM, though almost all events will be shorter and within the TOU peak period of 4-9 PM. There is a season maximum of 100 event hours.
Sunrun will determine the amount of energy dispatched during an event, however battery energy will not go below 20% backup reserve. Your battery will adhere to Storm Watch (if enabled in the Tesla app for Powerwall) or Storm Mode (an automatic Sunrun setting for LG and SolarEdge batteries) functionality, per the terms of your customer agreement. On event days, your device settings may be overridden to satisfy event requirements. On non-event days, your battery will continue its default settings.
Once the program term is complete batteries will resume normal modes of operation. However, in regions with active grid services programs, Sunrun will automatically enroll your device in available programs. Please refer to your Sunrun Service Agreement for additional details.
6. Incentive Payment
The incentive level is $150 per battery enrolled into the program. Payment will be sent at the end of the program term in November 2025. Early termination prior to October 31, 2025 may result in a forfeit of the full incentive amount.
