Why Sunrun Inspect? ▼

A system inverter and battery inspection is required to diagnose any system issues that require in-person repair. After an inspection, a technician outlines the issue and the cost to repair it, given which warranties apply and what labor is required. You are then responsible for the cost of any system labor, repairs, and equipment replacement that fall outside the warranties outlined in your customer agreement.

Sunrun System Performance Inspection

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the System Performance Inspection included with the customer’s Sunrun subscription.

1. System Performance Inspection

The subscription includes one System Performance Inspection conducted by a Sunrun representative or a representative of a Sunrun subcontractor. The inspection is intended to evaluate the system’s performance and identify potential issues.

2. Diagnostic Service Only

The inspection is diagnostic only. It does not include the cost of parts, labor, equipment, or other services required to repair, replace, or correct any issue identified during the inspection. Any repairs or additional services may be subject to separate terms, fees, and customer approval.

3. Customer Agreement

The customer’s existing customer agreement with Sunrun, as previously executed by the parties, is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference as though fully set forth here. All terms of that agreement remain in effect, including its limitations of liability, arbitration provision, indemnification obligations, disclaimers, and other standard terms and conditions. If these Terms and Conditions conflict with the customer agreement, the customer agreement controls unless these Terms and Conditions expressly state otherwise.

4. Customer Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By checking the box below, the customer acknowledges and accepts these Terms and Conditions, including that:

  • The subscription includes a diagnostic-only System Performance Inspection.

  • The inspection does not include the cost of repairs or other corrective work.

  • The customer’s existing Sunrun customer agreement is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.
