How Sunrun Shine Works ▼

Once you sign up for a Sunrun Shine add-on service, a Sunrun preferred partner will reach out to you over the phone to schedule your panel cleaning. On the day of your scheduled appointment, professional solar panel cleaners will safely get on your roof and scrub your panels with brush equipment and pressurized, deionized water, leaving them clean and spotless. Under the add-on service plan, you will be contacted the following year to schedule your next panel cleaning.

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the Solar Panel Cleaning Service included with the customer's Sunrun subscription.

1. Solar Panel Cleaning Service

The subscription includes one Solar Panel Cleaning Service performed by a Sunrun representative or a representative of a Sunrun subcontractor. The service consists of cleaning the surface of the customer's solar panels to remove dirt, debris, and other buildup that may affect system performance.

2. Scope and Limitations

The cleaning service is limited to the exterior surface of the solar panels. It does not include inspection, diagnosis, repair, replacement, or maintenance of any system components, wiring, inverters, or mounting hardware. Any issues observed during the cleaning will be reported to the customer but are not addressed as part of this service. Any repairs or additional services may be subject to separate terms, fees, and customer approval.

3. Customer Agreement

The customer's existing customer agreement with Sunrun, as previously executed by the parties, is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference as though fully set forth here. All terms of that agreement remain in effect, including its limitations of liability, arbitration provision, indemnification obligations, disclaimers, and other standard terms and conditions. If these Terms and Conditions conflict with the customer agreement, the customer agreement controls unless these Terms and Conditions expressly state otherwise.

4. Customer Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By checking the box above, the customer acknowledges and accepts these Terms and Conditions, including that:

  • The subscription includes a Solar Panel Cleaning Service limited to exterior panel surfaces.

  • The service does not include inspection, repair, or maintenance of any system components.

  • The customer's existing Sunrun customer agreement is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.
